Embark on an unforgettable 3 Days, 2 Nights adventure from Bali to witness two of Indonesia’s most breathtaking natural wonders, Ijen Crater and Mount Bromo.
Your journey begins with a scenic ferry crossing to East Java, where you’ll trek under the stars to see Ijen’s famous blue fire phenomenon and admire the turquoise crater lake at sunrise.
Continue on to Mount Bromo, where a thrilling Jeep ride across the Sea of Sand takes you to the best sunrise viewpoint, followed by a hike to the smoking crater rim.
With comfortable accommodation, local guides, and all logistics arranged, this tour is the perfect way to experience the raw beauty and adventure of East Java before returning to Bali.

DAY 1 🚙
Travel to Banyuwangi
⏰ Pickup Time: Between 8am-10am
⏳ Duration: 7 hours
✅ Pick-up from your hotel by our driver in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle (vehicle size depends on group numbers).
✅ Drive 4-5 hours to Gilimanuk Port.
✅ Board the ferry to Banyuwangi, Java Island (1 hour).
✅ Check in at your hotel.
✅ Enjoy dinner after arriving in Banyuwangi.
DAY 2 🌋
Mt Ijen and Drive to Probolinggo
⏰ Wake Up Call: 0:30 AM
Be sure to get enough rest beforehand.
✅ 00:30 AM: Depart from hotel to Mount Ijen
✅ 01:30 AM: Arrive at Ijen
– Enjoy snacks, coffee, and tea before the trek
– Meet your local trekking guide
– Masks and headlamps provided
✅ 02:00 AM: Begin trekking
✅ 03:30 AM: Descend to see the Blue Flame
✅ 07:00 AM: Return trek to Paltuding (Ijen parking area) approx. 1-1.5 hours
✅ 08:30 AM: Drive back to the hotel
✅ 09:30 AM: Arrive at the hotel
– 90 minutes to shower, have breakfast, and prepare to check out
✅ 10:00 AM: Drive to Probolinggo for the next hotel
✅ 17:00-18:00 PM: Arrive at Probolinggo homestay
– Lunch and dinner stops along the way at local restaurants
DAY 3 🚙🌋
Sunrise at Mt Bromo (active volcano)
⏰ Wake Up Call: 0:00 AM
Ensure you’ve rested in advance, as sleep will be limited before the Jeep tour.
✅ 02:30 AM – Pick-up from homestay
– Jeep driver collects you for the sunrise tour.
– Drive to the sunrise point (45–60 minutes, leaving early to avoid traffic).
✅ 05:30 AM – Sunrise at Mount Bromo
– Watch the sunrise over the volcano from Penanjakan viewpoint (approx. 30 minutes).
✅ 06:00 AM – Return to Jeep
– Continue journey towards Bromo Crater (drive may take over 1 hour due to traffic).
✅ 06:30-07:00 AM – Arrive at Mount Bromo
– 90 minutes to hike up, explore, and return to the Jeeps.
– Walk to the top rim takes around 30 minutes.
✅ 09:00 AM – Return to homestay
– Enjoy breakfast and prepare for check-out.
✅ 11:00 AM – Check-out & onward travel
– Drive to your drop-off destination in Bali.

Travel Guide and Tips
• Please respect the Indonesian customs, rituals and traditions and follow the local rule and prohibitions. Your driver will happily clarify any of these for you.
• The sun is strong in beautiful Java. Make sure that you bring sun block (even on overcast days) and a comfortable hat.
• Keep hydrated with lots of bottled water.
• Apply insect mosquito repellent.
• Dress casually, coolly and comfortably, but remember to dress properly when you visit a religious place.
• Choose comfortable footwear for walking and hiking.
